Asterias Bay-Theologos

A wonderful, cozy, family-style atmosphere. The staff was simply amazing. Mrs. Eleni looked after us like a mum — warm, caring, and always smiling. Our son was really happy (and let’s be honest, if the kid's happy, everyone’s happy!). The food? Delicious and varied — every day something different to choose from. Freshly prepared from local ingredients: salads, slaws, olives, feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers… you name it. The local beer, wine, and cocktails suited the hotel's relaxed vibe perfectly — and yes, we did enjoy them (in moderation, of course!). Desserts were spot on — not too sweet, just right. And now the cherry on top: on our last day, the lovely owner asked what time our flight was. We said 8:15 p.m., and after checking her schedule, she offered us to stay in the room (with food included!) until it was time to head to the airport. Half a bonus day of holiday, just like that! No one had booked the room after us, and instead of rushing out at noon, we got to soak up the last bit of sunshine. I’ve never experienced a gesture like that before — it probably only happens in small, charming, heart-driven hotels like this one. We’re already plotting how to escape to Rhodes again in September!
